I found mints helped .... I had about a packet of polos a day!
And ginger tea - the fresher the better .... I used to cut up a bit of fresh ginger and just pour hot water on it.

Good Luck!!! x

Charleney - I adopted my hangover cure which was lemonade/sprite and hula hoops (plain flavour). Takes the edge off...

You can buy herbal lemon and ginger tea which doesn't taste quite as minging as some, that helped too.

I did the ginger tea stuff - fresh made was best. 1" square of peeled ginger, crushed. Juice of 1/2 fresh lemon - and zest too if I could be bothered.

Pour over boiling water, leave 3 mins, strain, sip and blessed releif.

Have you tried eating something plain (like a cream cracker or 2) before you get out of bed.

Sea Bands - you know those travel-sickness bands - worked for me too. You can also get acupuncture for it (my dh is a trained medical acupuncturist) but the thought of that made me want to throw up.

I've tried every option as I was sick from 5-16 weeks with all 3 kids - these were the ones that worked for me!

Congratulations btw and good luck!

Toasted white pitta breads (no butter or spreads) before getting out of bed (thanks DH).

Copious amounts of blackjack sweets :o I found out afterwards that aniseed is good for combating nausea, so I wasn't being totally off-the-wall with that particular craving.

Fennel tea.

Anything plain. Plain pancakes (extra egg or two in mixture to get some protein etc).

Chewing gum did it for me. Also anything cracker-ey/carbohydrate-ey. Also sipping cold milk.
