is sex okay in first trimester?

I;m about 7 weeks, and although I'm feeling nauseous in the day, neither of us have gone off sex. I had a m/c in March so want to be careful, but the doctor didn't say anything about not having sex.

I think it's fine as long as you are not bleeding...congrats!

Do it while you can-you won't want to soon enough!

Think its ok..wont cause a miscarriage unless something is wrong and you would have miscarried anyway!! IYSWIM

Congrats too that you are not too tired to want it!!! I was rampant with DS, but am now too tired to even begin to contemplate a night of pash!

I got told to abstain, but this was after heavy bleeding. As long as you haven't bled this time you should be fine.

Thank you! Just felt that I'm so hormonal and worried the rest of the time, I didn't want to give up the thing that helps the most!

My gp told me to abstain or be very careful (I was pg with dd2 and had had a m/c a few months previously)

Its such a shame for my dh.We are ttc at the moment so he has to drop pants on demand but when I am pg its a big no no for me! Think he is glad of rest, he never complains.But aside from throwing up for most of the pg we both get a bit freaked out about sex! He thinks he might touch the babies head!

reading your title to this posting had me rolling round laughing manically with DH looking on like i have lost the plot. When I was pregnant with DS a girl i knew was pregnant same time. I was working and she came into the shop i worked in and well i will type the conversation as it went but no laughing please or you'll start me off again.

Her: I hope you are going to tell ben what I have tol my darren
Me: Whats that?
Her: that we are not having sex again until after the baby is born
Me: (thinking of a medical reason) Why?
Her: well when my mum was pregnant with me she had sex with my dad and 8 years later she had my sister....
