i am 34 weeks pregnant and my consultant has just told me that i can have a elected ceserian as the birth of my daughter 7 years ago resulted in 3rd degree tear which after 52 hours of labour i was very tired and sore. then i gave birth to a baby boy who was still born at 21 weeks gestation. needless to say i have many issues and concearns about having got this far and then having a healthy baby. the midwife has said i can have a vag birth as long as i have a v experianced midwife!! opinions please x x x x

It sounds like you want to go for it, but did your midwife say they could guarantee you a midwife with the appropriate experience?

Very sorry to hear about your DS, by the way.
