Insect bite cream and pregnancy?

Hi, am 5 1/2 weeks pregnant and have got a huge mossie bite on my ankle. Does anyone know whether after bite or anything is ok in pregnancy? obviously antihistamines arent recommended but if I dont find anything else may actually have to chew my own foot off!

Don't know about the creams - does it say on the tube?

But the best thing i find for bites is neat tea tree oil applied to the bite. Pregnant or not it works wonders!!

If in doubt ask the pharamcist they are a wonderful source of information especially regarding over the counter drugs/remedies.
