Did you get any "signs" that labour was imminent?

.... obviously other than contractions, waters breaking/a show.

What I mean is, on the day you went into labour, did you notice anything funny/unusual such as being particularly hungry/off your food, thirsty, sleepy, grumpy (or any of the other dwarves for that matter Grin? Did you just "feel" it was on its way - and were proved right?

I've read weird stuff about the behaviour of pets around women about to go into labour. Maybe they sense a change in body chemicals? Guess it's not that bonkers - when someone is about to have a seizure, animals can be trained to recognise this.

Interested in any experiences and stuff to look out for (37 weeks pg today)- thanks!

yep i went into overdrive: felt hugely energetic,so went out for a long walk which i hadn't for some time, everything had to be sorted in the house with a real sense of urgency (nesting big time), and tearful. in labour by that evening....

I had no idea had a normal day (including walking back from supermarket with heavy shopping and eating my fave pizza with chillies on top!) and couldn't believe it was for real when contractions started, so much so I stayed at home until I was 7cm which was great.
