32 weeks (with first baby if you hadn't guessed!) and bump is feeling very strange - the lower 1/2 (below my bellybutton) has gone all flabby whereas the top 1/2 is rock hard. Should I be worried/getting it checked out or is this totally normal? Is it the baby 'dropping'? The lower 1/2 of the bump is also itchy where the stretchmarks are, is that connected?
TIA

I don't know if you have anything to worry about but think you should phone your midwife to seek advice, i'm sure its fine

I can't help as on first baby as well but not as far as you just thought I would post to bump it up in case someone who knows has missed it.
I would contact your midwife they prefer you to be overcautious and if it will stop you worrying it will be worth it good luck x x

im 36 weeks and since my baba dropped, the lower bit of my bump (where my stretchmarks are) has also gone flabby, so i reckon its normal. didnt think to ask the midwife when i saw her though.

Hi I had this through most of my pregnancy & my midwife said it was because the baby was back to back - ie their spine against yours and legs & arms at front of your belly. She said this was common & not to worry about it. Both mine were like this & turned on the way out Smile
