Not only have I got the pain in the right side from the kicking, but all my ribs are so sore. I'm getting sharp pains which i know are from my uterus growing, but was wondering how long it took other peoples rib pain to subside a little bit.

I'm exhausted and just want to put my feet up but the only way I can ease the pain is by standing up straight. Grr

Lou is it going round your side or into your back at all? I am 31 weeks and have a trapped nerve in my back but it feels like my ribs on the right at the front are broken very uncomfortable.

erm unfortunately rib pain is quite normal, ive had it all the way through this pregnancy, and with my last two it only occured for a short while. I'm 39 wks and the rib pain is still there. usually occurs if i stand for more than 10 minutes.

I don't think there's a particular time limit, it's different i guess with each pregnancy. You've not got long now so rest as much as you can and the pain will subside once you have the baby. you takecare of yourself!

thanks for replies. mum2, no it's just in the front. I am however getting unbelievabley sharp pains in my groin when sitting and walking. Not sure which nerve the little buggar is sitting on, but that's pretty awful. When I'm walking, I have to stop and bend over to help it and my DH nearly has a heart attack every time thinking I'm going into labour :)
