Restless Legs Anyone?

Its driving me Potty , the only way I can describe it is.... Its like having an itch you cant reach, or are trying really hard not to scratch.

I know there is no cure and actually very little is helping me at the momeent but just need to know that others are suffering too, you know what they say about misery needing company and all that.

And I'm only 13 weeks, I'm sure it didn't start this early last time. Hate them, they're driving me mad! You have my sympathy

oh it's so annoying isn't it? I had exactly the same problem with my last pregnancy. I'm only 18+5 and it started a few months ago- I get it in the evenings and it sometimes lasts till I'm in bed and you can't sleep once its started.

I find it's sometimes linked to having hot feet and am comtemplating putting an ice cooling block under the sheets!

DH doesn't understand -it is so hard to explain to someone who's never had it.

My DH doesnt get it either and gets cross with me when I cant keep still, especially in bed.

I have had it for about 2 months now and actually its worse than the heartburn and back ache and all the other rubbish bits because people dont get it and how frustrating it is.

Well, at least i know im not alone, Restless Legs isnt something they tell you about on other pregnancy sites.

Oh the joys! I get restless legs every night but I notice it's worse if I let myself get too tired. Then, of course, I'm completely knackered and the twitching legs prevent me from falling asleep for hours. I'm 38+6 weeks and it seems to have gotten a wee bit better in that I'm now sooooo tired even the twitching can't keep me awake. It seems I've come out the other side.
My DP doesn't get it either but he has learned not to complain anymore!
