Hi all prob weird Q but I've had hoarseness and at times like now, complete laryngitis for almost three months now.. Mostly my throat doesn't hurt and it's inconvenience more than anything. My doctors haven't seenit before but are very blasé and maybe it's my hormones making me worry it's spmething more serious.. I'm 36+4 now..

Any experiences or advice greatly received..

i would ask to be checked out with blood tests and a possible xray of throat. You shouldnt have hoarseness for that longConfused

Are you getting heartburn? If you have acid reflux at night it can affect your vocal cords and make you quite hoarse.

I've had on off laryngitis (22 weeks). The first few times I couldn't see a reason but lately I've noticed it's worse when I've had acid reflux as Hufsa suggests.

thyroid problems can also give you a hoarse voice
