pregnancy boobs - are they as big second time round?

I am considering second baby, DD1 is 21months. Now I am not small bobbed to start with 30G, but was huge during pregnancy and until baby was about 10 months.

Of all the pregnancy related issues you could be anxious about the huge boob thing is my concern. I was at the limit of maternity/bf bra sizes, 32J and even though I fitted into my jeans 3 weeks after birth it was almost a year before I could do up some shirts! Couldn't sleep without elasticated dance-style tops on to hold them in place. Just not even funny. Their size actually freaked DH out.

Do your boobs always get sooo big the second time you get pregnant?

Mine have got bigger this time. When I stopped breastfeeding DS, my boobs actually became a bit smaller than they had been pre-pregnancy, but now that I'm 29 weeks with DC2, they're bigger than ever.

hi MamaLaMoo, yep sorry I've also found mine are bigger this time round- they're already the size they were in late pregnancy last time round and I'm only 18 weeks. But I'm loving it as I am usually flat chested! I don't know whether it's normal for them to be bigger 2nd time round though I'm afraid!

Yes, unfortunately in my experience they do. I was sooooooo hopeful that they wouldn't get as over-excited this time around but they did. I'm not sure if they're bigger than the first time, probably not as I'm wearing the same maternity bras - but I'm only 26 weeks so there is still time Also have horrible "armpit boobs" this time, which I don't remember from last time.

This is third time for me and at 14 weeks mine are the size they were at term the first two times. They are really sore too - sorry.
