I have had what seems to be round ligament pain for about ten days (am 14+4). According to my pregnancy book this is too early but the pain is as described- short, sharp, coming on when I get up quickly. It's been particularly bad on my left side, which I'm presuming is because I had my left Fallopian tube removed six months ago due to an ectopic.

Hi - stretching and cramping feelings are normal from very early on, round ligament pain from about 15wks according to my book! But it really depends on your body and how many pgs you've had I think. If you're at all worried about pains call your mw for some reassurance.

If you're me, it's one of the first symptoms, from about 5 weeks. Hmm I got a sore, bruised ache and sharp twangs at the sides of my groin with DS and this pregnancy. Right from the start. It's still there too, but harder to separate from the SPD. Sad

Books say you get it from 20 weeks. But they say a lot of other rubbish too! Grin

Thank you all.

Spookily ReshapeWhileDamp we are ttc no 2, period due in a couple of days, but .... I have had the unique sensation of round ligament pain for around a week now.... which I find odd. Hmm

Whenever I google it its all about pg, no other cause.

Who knows :)
