TENS machine problems

Hi all. I received my tens machine today from Boots. I was a bit late ordering it as I'm due on 31st August. Anyway, I can't seem to get it working. The display shows the different frequencies but I can't feel anything in the pads. I'm worried I won't be able to get a replacement in time given the bank hol. Does anyone have any advice on what I'm doing wrong?

Check the batteries but if req showing they should be fine.

Put the pads on your forearm, more sensitive, make sure they are at least pad width apart.

Make sure pads are properly sticking to the skin.

If it has two channels, try one lead then the other.

Very slowly turn up intensity, you should feel a tingle type sensation.

If no joy, phone customer services, ask to get a replacemnt shipped out ASAP - courier etc, if it is faulty hopfully they should be sympathetic to your needs, or if shop nearby stocks might get to pick one up.
