Is anyone else a stress head for the first 12 weeks?

I'm pg with dc2 so I've done all this before but I am still really stressy about everything being ok!
I'm only about 5 weeks gone. Not had mw appointment yet. No chance of scan for a while yet obviously.

Is it just me or is everyone else a bit stressy at this point?

Ps I am feeling nauseous at tomes which I find a bit annoying and reassuring in equal measures! Hmm

hi mate, i was a stress head, i moved area so no one knew my history, i had 5 miscarriages in the last 10 yrs, and got pregnant, only see the mw at 12wks for booking, i went to the doctors and explained at 10wks, she sent me to the epu for reassurance xx

I found I was loads worse this time, I guess you are better informed and more aware of potential problems etc. Def not just you!

theteasonme · 26/08/2010 16:49

Oh, I am so much worse this time than last - I'm 6 weeks pg and keep stressing because I don't feel sick! Hmm In a strange way I just want to feel awful to reassure myself.

I'm 8w by my dates - but only 6w by last weeks (private) scan date. Got re-scanned at NHS today - picture very poor - sac looks a little bigger - not sure if they saw fetal pole or not - and no hearbeat this time (there was heartbeat seen - with clearer pic last week at private scan)...so todays scan very inconclusive. I'll have another scan in 10 days. I had the private scan because I felt something was wrong - I just didn't feel pregnant - and I was shocked they put my dates 2 week earlier than I had thought).
Yes I'd say I'm going to be a complete stress-head! I too don't feel sick....I wish I did!!!

I'm also stressing out - it's early days for and my first pg, and I just wish I hadn't found out I was pregnant for another 8 weeks or so!

i concur. 5 weeks and 4 days and worry from the moment i wake up. I dont think we will stop worrying til it pops out!

Wanderingsheep · 26/08/2010 21:47

Oh I completely sympathise! I HATE the first twelve weeks of pregnancy!

My pregnancy with DD was worse than this time due to having a mc with my first pregnancy. This pregnancy has been a lot less stressful but it's going to be my last one so I'm determined to enjoy it.

I'm 13+5 now (woohoo!) but the first 12 weeks just feel like a waiting game!

LetsHaveAnotherOne · 27/08/2010 12:04

I wish I could be put into a coma and only woken up the day the baby is due to be delivered!!!

TotorosOcarina · 27/08/2010 20:09

You sound exactly like me!

I am about 5 weeks to, feel quesy alot but like it oddly as I feel reassured by it, and feel worried when I'm not feeling queasy!

This is my 4th so I should know to relax by now!

clarebear1 · 28/08/2010 10:39
