has this happened to anyone? obviously it does happen! just wanted to find out how it would affect the baby- i am in the process of changing gps and my appointment isn't until friday- tia

Didn't want you to go unanswered. This happened to a friend of mine and her DS (now 4) was fine, although was c-section as he was breach but I doubt very much that was related. Don't really any more, hopefully someone with more info will come along.

I had my DS after taking the MAP and he is age 9 now and absolutly fine, was the easiest pregnancy and labour out of my 3 DC.

My friend also conceived after the MAP failed and her DD who is now 6 was also perfectly healthy.

AFAIK the MAP works by stopping a fertilized egg from inplanting but if the egg does managed to inplant there is nothing in the MAP that will cause problems with the embryo
