Feeling prepared...............?

When did you feel 100% (or near enough) prepared for labour/baby - in regards to stuff you need????????????

I am currently 31+3.

I have the majority of stuff but still need a few bits for me, a few baby bits, finish hospital bag stuff, pack hospital bag, and prepare the room let alone try to prepare myself mentally! lol

Never! With Ds1 I had the bag packed etc etc but there's such a fear of the unknown re labour I don't think you can be fully prepared.

With ds2 I knew what to expect with the labour but he came early so the finer details of the hospital bag etc never did get finished.

The net result of that was after a great birth I was absolutely starving at 4 in the morning 'cos I hadn't packed any food! So don't forget that one - cereal bars are good and keep for ages!

Yeah I'm going to pack snacks too!!

Yeah I dont think i will be able to mentally prepare myself (you just have to go with it i suppose don't you!)

In regards to hospital bag, i still have a fair few weeks hopefully - you knever know..

so i will piece which bits i need then just add to it if needs be i guess!

its trying to sort out my room whats the pain! no space! as we are at the rent's at the mo!! eek
