When did your stretch marks appear & where?

Thought I'd got away with it but they appeared at 39 and a half weeks both times!

Where abouts??

I think i'm going to get them anyways. so far I have like 4 on each boob. they fade but then go pink when they are full and achy

Didn't appear - about which I was mighty surprised as I was covered in them as a result of puberty. One of the very few positives about being slightly rotund to start with I reckon.

Yeah see I have the puberty silvery ones on my backside!

I am naturally slim, normally no boobs, luckily bump is literally just bump, not BIG big either. but i just have an inkling that i will go like a road map soon :-(

I am 35 weeks and mine appeared 2 weeks ago, and every day there seems to be another one :( but I suppose a small price to pay for such a big reward :)

With DS1 they appeared on my hips and the underside of my boobs at about 38 weeks - I thought I'd got away with it!

None with Ds2 though I gained less weight.

Im only 26 weeks and had a major break down last night when I found 2 small stretch marks on my hip on both sides last night! Im going to be a zebra by the time Im due!

DD gave me mine when I was 37 weeks. Every week I went to the ante natal appointments and the doctor would express surprise at the lack. Then bam, I have, I am told, about 8 under my over hang from my casarian. I can't see them but DD calls them tiger stripes. Nice.

Mine appeared on the underside of my bump. they faded completed first time (used Bio-Oil) and have faded a lot this time round - dd is 3 months

40 weeks.

And they carried on appearing in their multitudes fo the next 19 days 'til DS finally arrived.

about 31 - 32 weeks, underneath my bump. Or at least that's when I think they appeared. Who knows how long they had been lurking there out of sight!

I thought i'd got away with it with DS1. At 38 weeks i got them across my belly and hips and a big one on my boob which looks awful as it's right on top of a vein. Had Ds at 39 weeks.

This time they re-appeared with lovely new ones by about 6 months. I have been drowning my belly in bio oil which has helped. They're not red and angry looking but i know they're there.

Very small price to pay.

I do think its hard to adjust too though, when your DP hasn't a mark on him! lol

I got quite upset about the ones on my boobs, but really what can i do? - nothing! I moisturise everyday, I think its just where my boobs are filling up (been leaking a bit lately too so the pressure in them is quite uncomfy)

but if i do get them anywhere else i just hope they are not great bigguns on the main part of my belly. as we want to go abroad next year - sorry if i sound horrid. if it happens it happens. its just that area i'd dislike i knwo i will. :(

I have kind of gotten use to the ones on my boobs now as they do fade when they arent aching. its just when they are leaking i think that they go pink...

I've had to come to terms with the fact i will never wear a bikini again but who needs a bikini when i'll have two beautiful boys instead

I have some on my hips already.... I'm 21 weeks and they've been there a little while now :(

Last few weeks.

I have them on my boobs, stomach, thighs, hips, bum, back and knees.

They look better now 3yrs later but I dread to think what will happen if I ever have a 2nd.

Mine started around belly button in the last month. I was very stripey by the end! Still have them but i dont mind them too much, I can see how ds1 was laying with them as there are more on the side where he spent the last couple of weeks sticking his bum out and making me look all weird and lumpy!

I found my first 2 this morning . I'm 34 weeks and have been drowning myself in Bio Oil since about 20 weeks so was feeling very smug with myself. I know they aren't the end of the world but I really didn't want them. Luckily they are on the underneath of my bump so shouldn't be too noticeable but who know how many more I'll have by the time baby arrives.

Oh well, it'll all be worth it when I meet the cause I'm sure

Over the last 2 weeks mine have appeared on my bump. Am now 34 weeks and have a little pattern of them on my stomach. Literally woke up one morning and there was one there and then they multiplied. Just on the bump so far though.

Keep telling myself that it's a small price to pay and that they'll fade . . . all of which is true . . . but still feel quite pissed off. Nothing to be done though!

36 bloody weeks, last time and this time by the looks of it. No wonder all the 'selebs get their cut and shuts with lipo at 36.

my stretch marks appeared during my 3rd pregnancy about 1 week after I blithely said "Oh I don't get stretch marks" and at about 37 weeks

38 weeks, had nothing until then, when my entire stomach exploded into them.My stomach still resembles a tabby cat! But I actually don't care, he's worth it!

Right near the end. Underneath the bump. Unfortunately when your belly goes back those that seemed quite low down end up all over your belly :( They are pretty horrid but there you go.

Am 33+1 and I don't have any... YET! fully expecting them though, I've got a couple of tiny silvery ones on my hips from puberty.

I have got broken veins in the top insides of my thighs though which show up purple sometimes, but other times disappear completely. They're small and quite spidery and I don't know what they are, but I'm hoping they'll fade after the birth...
