H&M aren't great for anyone with thighs or calves that are chunky. They are very narrow legged. I tried an XL Maternity Trouser on and struggled to get it to my knees.
Next Jeans were better on the leg, bootcut fit comfy underbump style. But I need a zip/button fly to get them over my sizeable behind so over bump is only good for some really comfy never to leave the house bootcut leggings, which I wear all the time at home, but not out in public.
Mothercare had the worst size selection in jeans, the 20R was a cheap look, hardly any stretch to the jean, apart from the waist band.
SimplyBe selection is pathetic. They need more selection rather than the 11 items they offer.
I would really recommend you get measured somewhere like bravisimo or an independant retailed. M&S put me in a bigger chest size and smaller cup that has me in agony and i pop out underneath. As a treat I went to bravisimo and it was well worth it. I now know what to look for in a bra, and I'm so comfy and I look good, no more una-boob!
I am a pear shape, before pregnancy was a 20/22 on the bottom and 16/18 on top, but depends on bust as I am busty. I'm now 24 weeks and my bust and bump are the only things getting bigger, I seem to fit into the maternity sizes pretty much the same.
Next maternity tops have been the most, flattering, i need the longer length to cover my hips etc and they give it.
New Look were a disappointment with tops, the fashion at the moment is for the gathered hem on a tight seam, even with the biggest tops they offer 20 they wouldn't go over my modest bump or hips.
I have bought alot of things on eBay as it's not a problem to list it again if it doesn't fit, and you don't pay out a fortune for things.
