My friend is in hospital - cyst on ovary? experiences please

My friend is in hospital she is experiencing a lot of pain, she is in the very early stages of her 4th pregnancy, they have found an orange sized cyst on her ovary. The apin has got 10x worse today but they are reluctant to do anything becuase of the baby.

Does anyone have any experience or know what might happen?

I had this with my first born. He's 8 now. I was admitted with pain, they foind a cyst. Gave me pain killers but held off doing anything until past 13 weeks. I had it removed at 14 weeks and it had grown considerably larger. I have a scar going from my belly button to my section scar. But baby was fine!

Well that is goo to hear, she didnt know she had one until she was admitted with the pain, they scanned her and found baby was ok and had a heartbeat but there is a large cyst on the ovary. She was ment to be going home today but the pain has got so much worse. She is only 6 weeks so they wont remove it or drain it yet. Poor thing its going to be hellish waiting nearly 10 weeks to have it removed.
