TMI on two counts....sorry!!

So...firstly, am 36 weeks now and finding that I getting kind of shooting pains through my butt!! But not like my bum cheeks - kinda more the exit area and up into my body?! TMI - sorry! But does anyone else get this - maybe because he's getting so big now and pushing on my bowel or rectum or something?!

And secondly - more of a statement than a question - but seriously how hard does it get to wipe when you've had a wee when your tummy is soooo huge!!! I wee for a minute and spend another 5 minutes wiping!!

Gross I know....but still - I can't be alone!!

Could you have piles?? May explain the shooting pains?

Nope no piles. (Secretly thrilled about getting this far at least without them!! but don't want to say it too loud incase I get them!!)

Hi Chelle!Im 34 weeks and Ive had that as well a couple of times. I think it's cramps because i can remember having it when i was on my period.

I had the shooting pain up my bum a couple of times when I was pg. I remember it took my breath away.

I don't know if it was due to piles. I didn't actually realise I had piles, until the community midwife was inspecting my episiotomy stitches when I was back home, and declared that I had a large haemhorroid. How lovely!
