Hi,

I have just had my BFP after TTC for 1.5 years.

If feels like I have period pain which I believe is normal but i have more of a pain on my right side where I guess my ovary is. Its not constant but I feel it more when i sit down.

Is it anything to worry about or do you think all pains are normal at this stage as it embeds into the womb

Thanks x

vnewmummy I had a lot of aches, pains, stitches etc from very early on in this pregnancy (now 14 weeks). What was more worrying for me was that it is my 3rd pregnancy and didn't have anything like that with first 2!!

Try and relax, congratulations, next week you'll be worrying that you haven't been sick yet and then a few weeks after that you'll be praying for the sickness to stop and then when it does stop you'll be a wreck Wink. Good luck

vnewmummy I was worried sick too, lots of pains and discomfort, I found those first 12 weeks so stressful. It's easy for me to say now but relax and enjoy every day, you are pregnant! It's all perfectly normal, your little bean is making a comfy home.
Soon it'll be pains from little feet in your ribs. Grin
Good luck x

I had exactly the same in my first pregnancy with DS. Sometimes the pain would be so crippling, I'd be doubled over with it. I was sure I had an ectopic pregnancy and actually went to the doctors about it. She said it was perfectly normal.

Interestingly, I didn't seem to have it with DD....

Congratulations on your BFP! How fabulous. It's a worrying time, but I'm sure it'll all be fine Smile

Congratulations, mummy!

This is naturally a very worrying time and you are bound to notice every ache and pain. For what it is worth, I am currently 14 weeks, and had regular pre-period type cramping and ovarian pain (mainly LH) right up until recently. All perfectly normal, if a little worrying. Good luck Smile

Period pains are normal, I had them week 4-5. Pains in the ovaries also normal because of uterine stretching. Sometimes you feel the stretching pains more when you get up from a sitting position.
However, if the pain on one side gets stronger and you start feeling shoulder and back pain you should report to the hospital. Because it can be signs of ectopic pregnancy in your fallopian tube.
I would not worry, so far what you are describing sounds normal.
