I feel a bit of a failure because I have never felt this before, but I have just decided that I want to have this baby asap.

Can't breath.
Want a wee.
can't sleep.
Can't bend down.
Knackered.
Feel slightly sick and stodged out all the time.
Hips ache.
Braxton hicks are dead tight now and make me walk funny.
Strangers commenting.
Walking like a penguin who needs a crap.

Anyone else want a moan?
Please join in Smile

Nearly 37 weeks and feel just the same! Can't sleep - hence being on mumsnet at this time of night. Itch all over, can't get comfortable, want my life back! I know it sounds selfish but I liked it when I could actually do things myself like walking, carrying shopping, bending over etc without it being a major task. Desperate to meet my LO now please! I'm even thinking "labour? it can't be worse than this!" Smile

I'm only 35 and a bit weeks but I feel your pain. On the plus side, I'm glad I've found pregnancy to be so crap because it means I'm actually looking forward to the labour part.

36+5 here

Most of the above plus DS makes me yelp in pain when he moves around some nights. DD definitely didn't do this and would possibly be an only child if she had! When I am really tired (most times!) it makes me almost cry...

I can't give DD (2.4) a cuddle as my bump is too big for her to sit on my lap and she is too heavy for me to pick up for more than a few seconds. This makes me really :(

Not particularly looking forward to labour and the first few weeks of newborn-ness, but it will be a blessed relief compared to this!

Thanks for letting me vent.

Hear hear. 36 weeks, can't turn over in bed, walk, sit, stand or lie for long without pelvic pain.
Baby movements v uncomfortable, like a (back-to-back) bag of snakes.
Appetite all over the shop - I pick at healthy carefully prepared lunches, then have a bowl of sugar puffs an hour later.
People keep saying how vast I am and how they're sure it'll come early, which I daren't hope for.
Same as you ITZG with not being able to cuddle or lift my two-year-old.

Bah.

MadameG · 20/08/2010 17:47

I started another thread asking for help with all this discomfort but now I see this one and that I'm not alone! My pelvis, back and legs ache like a mo fo, can't sleep, tired of weeing, feet are huge, I move around like a big waddling hippo... not nice at all. Can't wait for it to be over. (35 weeks currently).

To add insult to injury, when I went to my antenatal class the other night, all the other women had small, neat little bumps, the sort that I had at about 5 months. I looked like a comedy heifer in comparison.

MassiveBumperlicious · 20/08/2010 19:54

Yep, everything you've all listed here! I am very crap at being pg and at 35 weeks I am done with being pg. Plus I have a 3 year old.

Finished work yesterday and just want to hibernate till it is all over.

MassiveBumperlicious · 20/08/2010 20:07

Friend has bought me over some bellis which I am going to try tonight. Not convinced by homeopathy but willing to try anything at the moment to get some sleep.

OnEdge · 20/08/2010 21:57

I am 39+4 and desperate to get him out. Cannot sleep, need a wee every 10 minutes, can only sleep on my sides but hips hurt after a while so have to constantly shift which side I am on, heartburn is awful and from going whole pregnancy with no stretch marks, have developed a whole load of them in the laat 2 weeks. :-(

On top of all that, DP doesn't understand at all how tired I feel all the time and constantly calls me lazy.
The other day he said "fancy going for a walk?" and I felt like slapping him in the face and screaming "I can't think of anything I would less like to do at this precise moment than go for an effing walk!"
