light stabbing pains???

hi I am 9 wks and having light stabbing pains sort of on left where youd normally have period pains - realise the period pains bit seems normal, but wondered bout the stabbing bit, esp only on 1 side?
any comments? thanks

I had this from early on, DD now 8 months, usually caused by stretching, feels like period pains, sometimes crippling? any concerns though speak to midwife:)

Strangly I got this at 9 weeks too but right under my ribs on my left side.

thanks ladies, its so odd not being able to talk to my mates (all mummies who would know answers but we're not telling yet)so I really appreciate your help!
