Anyone else suffering with itchy boobs!? mine are driving my crazy..i could literally scratch them until they bleed and it wouldnt improve! I'm oiling like mad.

I'm 19 + 5 so pretty sure it's just the skin growing...anyone know of anything i can use to take the itching away? It's quite embarrassing itching my boobs in work ;-)

I have itchy nipples! just over 17 weeks - and agree driving me mad. People on here suggested smothering in Lanisoh (sp?) cream - but i'm abroad so can't get til home in Sept - but i'm moisturising like crazy in mean time. :)

I suffered with this when my milk came in after having my son last year and my MW recommended cabbage leaves- apparently there's something in the skin that helps, worked for me and felt fab if you put them in the freezer for 10 mins before!

Although not sure how your colleagues would react to you with your top off and a cabbage leaf bra at work Hmm

I'm thirty six weeks and get itchy all over. Was using bio oilwhich I thought was supposed to be good but have found E45 is better. You can buy creams for itchy skin too - don't know if they would help?

Might be worth seeing GP, I got an unbearable breast itch (skin at the side not nipples) early on in this pg and thought it was dry skin.
Dr at ante natal clinic gave me 1% canesten cream which quickly cured the itch so reckon it was a fungal skin infection ? thrush.
Apparently you can be more prone to it during pg due to your immune system being slightly depressed.

I have had this for last week and asked the midwife Wednesday, she just said to put cream on them or vaseline if that didn't work. It's a really annoying itch, that's for sure! I was a bit worried ir was thrush as Montifer mentioned because they are leaking at night a bit and I had it when feeding DS so didn't want to already have it this time before I started but midwife didn't seem to think it was (didn't look though!).

Try body butter. I'm finding rich creams are better than any oils for this.
