could this be a show at 33 weeks? Warning - TMI

Sorry - this is total overshare/TMI etc etc
I am 33 weeks today and have just been to the loo. I have quite heavy vaginal discharge, with lumps about the size of grains of rice in it. Its creamy coloured with a slight pink tinge. I don't have any itching and it doesn't smell so I don't think its thrush or another infection. I have had a really sore tummy today but I think its digestive pain rather than uterine so I suspect that's a red herring - does this sound like it could be a very early show?

You dont say what the lumps are like, are they cream coloured too, if so it doenst sound like a show, my shows were quite jelly like and snotty, does sound like thrush, but maybe someone who knows a bit more will be along in a minute, and call your midwife

I've had discharge similar to what you describe that wasn't a show or infection. The few times it has happened, it was usually after a day that had been a bit strenuous (also had tight feeling in abdomen).

My show was as cluelessnchaos describes - jelly like, snotty and in my case, loads of it, took ages to wipe away - TMI sorry

I had a similar-ish thing to what you describe a couple of months ago (am now 36 weeks). For me, it was one large lump, maybe 2cm long, amongst discharge. It was mostly creamy coloured, pinky/red stained at one end, looked a bit like a bit of cooked chicken....

I was very alarmed, discussed with m/w, she suggested it might be a bit of my cervix! Shock I have had ectropion in the past (where the cervix is a bit delicate and bleeds easily) and she said in pregnancy bits can just slough off - nice Wink

I had no pain, so wasn't worried otherwise. And as nymum said, it was when I had overdone it a bit....
