I'm 4 wks and I've just been to the loo and when I wiped, soz to be graphic, there was a very pale brown mark and a spot of red blood, I've got no pain just a very dull period like ache but I've had that on n off for 3 wks anyway, could this be implantation bleeding? I remember I had this with my son very early on, but its weorrying when it happens :(

It could be implantation bleeding or the start of a very early miscarriage (sometimes called a chemical pregnancy). You could ask your doctor to do blood hcg tests 48 hours apart, but as it's so early they may just tell you to go home and wait a few days anyway.

Doing another test in a few days is to see if it's still positive - if it's a miscarriage the lines may get fainter or go completely.

I don't think it's anything to worry about; I had bleeding around the time my period was due, but then it stopped suddenly after a few hours. I mentioned it to my MW and she said it's just the hormones from the ovaries being a little late to react. I don't think it's implantation bleeding, that happens earlier.

Ahhh sadly I think its a miscarriage :(

Hello I hope that it is going to be ok. Will be thinking of you tonight. Try to sleep.
