Is this a record? I'm in maternity jeans at 7 weeks

which is a little embarrassing, but so comfortable.

It's mainly because I haven't stopped eating since the nausea kicked in, and I really can't be bothered to buy size-up clothing for just a couple of months wear.

I feel so fat! (but generally quite happy Smile)

And it might be twins... Wink

BellaBearisWideAwake · 18/08/2010 21:33

oh god.

(sorry to any multiple mothers but the thought terrifies me)

I think I am just an eating machine, tbh!

BellaBearisWideAwake · 18/08/2010 21:48

I was in them by 9 weeks. So much comfier than normal clothes.

nancydrewrocked · 18/08/2010 21:53

I am in them at 9 wks.

It is weird as I only weigh a few lbs (4 or 5) more than I did when i had my first baby and that time I wore my regualar (albeit low rise) jeans until 30 weeks.

I can only conclude that my stomach muscles are fecked!

BellaBearisWideAwake · 18/08/2010 21:56

meglet, I agree totally

stomach muscles? I don't remember them

I'm 7 weeks and in maternity stuff already, they are just more comfy and seem to slightly lessen how nauseus I feel (less pressure on my very queasy belly lol).
Glad I'm not the only one Grin

beckie90 · 20/08/2010 12:57

haha bella. thers no need im sure i'll be a hugeee mama this time. cant stop eating for a start lol

hoolabombshell · 20/08/2010 23:40

I bought maternity work trousers at about 9 weeks because he elasticated waist was so damn comfy. Foolishly I bought them in a size smaller than what I usually wear, simply because the elastic meant they fit.

Now each time I wear them I just get the worst camel toe ever, simply from constantly hoiking them up. And every time I sit down they end up halfway down my backside. Talk about dumbest mum-to-be ever Biscuit.

I am fully intending to get my hands on some maternity jeans asap - I've only put on about 2lbs (am 8 weeks), but god, I'm so uncomfortable!

emptyshell · 21/08/2010 13:30

Thankfully I dropped three dress sizes to GET pregnant and still kept my fatty clothes around so I've got a nice variety of boring black work trousers in a range of different sizes I fully plan on expanding back up through before I have to buy anything new (I'm cheap).

Jeans are getting tight now though but that's just bloating.

mrsflux · 21/08/2010 16:15

Well I'm 4 weeks maybe. Just got bfp today.

My jeans don't fit!!! :(
It's either dig out mat jeans from ds or see if I've still got some of my big jeans.

hoolabombshell · 21/08/2010 17:09

Haha, emptyshell I lost 2 stone before getting pg (thank god) so have plenty of bigger work trousers which are still doing up over my tum.

I will wear these as long as I can, as I too am cheap and am just pairing these with long-line/gypsy cut tops that I already had. And leggings that I already had.

And thank goodness for long cardis that cover my backside - I would just look like a walking buddha otherwise.

BellaBearisWideAwake · 24/08/2010 07:59

ok, glad it isn't just me then! Turns out, I wasn;t even 7 weeks, I was 6 and a half.
