My first pregnancy ended in an elective section, because right from 28 weeks DS was breech. He never even tried to turn properly, he was just stuck. When the consultant tried an ECV at 37 weeks it was a complete waste of time because DS was so deeply lodged in my pelvis.

This time around I was devastated to find that the baby was breech again at 28 weeks, in exactly the same lie as DS was, and remained so until a few days ago. Yes, it's had more room to move now I'm all stretched, and has been trying harder than DS ever did, BUT I saw an osteopath on Friday and she spent a lot of time working on my psoas muscle where I have been getting shooting pains on and off this pregnancy (and last). Baby turned at some point in the following 48 hours.

Now coming to terms with the (admittedly slim) possibility that I could have avoided a section with DS had I tried this course of action last time - and thereby not be entering the murky waters of the VBAC.

Worth a shot, my fiends, oh yes! :)
