movements how often should i feel them

hey im nearly 23 weeks now and was jus wondering how often i should be feeling movements
they r quite strong now and i can almost tell the difference between arms and legs. and can feel them wen i put my hand on my bump but i dont know how often they should be there is only really about twice a day i get stong movements is this too little or could i jus be to busy to notice

rach, this is your first isn't it? I didn't feel ANY movements until I was about 26 weeks pregnant, coupled with the fact I didn't look pregnant either I was beginning to worry. I think your feeling enough, and it will get more and more as the baby bets bigger and stronger. The only really time to worry is when the baby is usually very active and then you don't feel any, I had this and was monitored at the hospital for a few hours and everything was fine. Remember, your baby is usually his most active when you are asleep (or trying to be!)

Hi Rachel, I didn't feel anything until 24 weeks and am impressed that you can tell the difference between arms and legs! I heard that you don't need to worry if you feel the baby at least 10 movements a day. However I am ususally so busy at work I don't notice anything until evening time although I am sure the baby is moving fine. Take care and enjoy it now before it really gets kicking! Shelly
