what were your pregnancy symptoms

what were your pregnancy symptoms and how soon did you know/guess you were pregnant.
been trying for a baby for ages.
ovulated 5 days ago, since then having terrible back ache. is it just wishful thinking???

Didn't find out I was pregnant until 23 weeks....no symptoms at all!! Only thing I've had is bad lower back and tiredness. Though looking back I picked up on things like toothpaste making me gag and intolerance to some foods - but nothing that would have indicated there was a baby in there! Therefore my view is test and test again! lol.

Feeling really seasick and being very weepy, were the first.

I think I was about 5 days pregnant when my boobs became extremely painful - I said to DH, "my boobs hurt but I don't think I'm due on.... on hang on, unless I'm pregnant?" - and I was!!!

Have never heard of back ache being a symptom in such early pg tho, tayo, but that doesn't mean you're not pg anyway!

I felt sick around any fish/seafood during my first pregnancy and lost all interest in chocolate.

Knew I was pregnant 2nd time when I bit into a sesame prawn toast and had to spit it out.

I didn't have any symptoms until I was 6 weeks pregnant with both of mine. Then it was a really sensitive sense of smell and awful nausea.

Felt travel sick on the train at 7dpo.

Also, I had the WORST hip/groin pain known to man for a week. I couldn't walk. Not sure if it was anything to do with being pg but I kind of suspected as I felt so unusual.

well i think i got symptoms straight away, with my 1st it was hot flushes and tiredness, over a week before i was due on, and needing to pee alot. and just found out im pregnant again and i got a posative 4 days before period was due as 2 weeks before that id been exhausted tired, naseaus, weeing alot, and had to spit beetroot out which normally i love, and in this case keep going cold instead of hot.

In hindsight, the lack of a period was my only reliable symptom. And then later the growing bump. Otherwise, every other early pregnancy symptom is compatible with an impending period.

i had period pain but no period-sore back, sore tummy. then i felt a bit more tired, then felt a bit sick, then sore boobs. said to dp that if i started getting up to pee at night i would say i was pg. about 3 days later i started!! i'm now 22 weeks! good luck!

before i knew i was pregnant my skin got VERY greasy, almost tacky to touch and ive never had problems with my skin! and then the magical sign was no period. i was only off my pill for 3 months so i thought they were just going to be a bit irregular, then i done the test about a week after my period was supposed to be due.

I had period pains but period never came, also had terrible wind, was trumping loads for the 1st 7/8weeks, thankfully it wore off and im much nicer to be around. Then all symptoms disappeared, i had a little nausea and heratburn for around 3 weeks, then nothing, was convinced baby had died, despite having 2 early scans at 6 and 8 weeks, then at around 3 and a half months the nausea and heartburn came back, worse than ever, im now 19 weeks and its constant

Boobs were usually a bit swollen and sensitive around the time i was due my periods but this time it was a lot more especially my areolas! and i was veeeeeery tired at unusual times of the day, and was unusually serene when normally im a bit ratty when im due AF!

I had the backache (up until probably week 5).

Main one was boobs though - so much so that my husband had suspected before I even told him I was - you could pick up Sky TV on those nipples!

Oh and going off chocolate completely - from being someone who'd climb the walls for a fix if a chocolate attack hit me.

Giggly tired about a week before I did test and went off coffee, which is v v unusual for me. Only lasted day or two but just felt sooooo unusual.

well its 29 days since af came and i have no idea what my cycle length is as its really irregular. i know i ovulated cos clearblue said so and i also felt it. have done 4 pregnancy tests the early ones. boobs are killing me and getting lots of cramps but no sign of af. i get the cramps often but af comes about 2-3 days later, had the cramps and back ache now for 2 weeks. whats going on!!!!!!

Good luck to to you. I thought I was developing irritable bowel syndrome, had tummy ache and felt swollen. dr refused to test me for it until had POAS

Also noticed that i couldn't finish my glasses of wine, and a bottle would go off before i'd got through half of it. v strange.

oh my god guess what i got a bfp this morning with the clearblue that gives you a cross when its posititve. i got a pack of two in tesco for £10 thought this is a waste of money but i guess it wasnt cos i did a cheap ebay early test this morning too and that came up negative so i though ill do the other clearblue and if its negative im never buying an expensive test again cos its a waste of money. i guess they are worth the money in the end. im sooooooo excited. thanks to you all for your support. xx
