I'm 8 wks and for the last 24 hours I've had an almost constant brown smear everytime I wipe after the loo. I've got a scan on Monday morning but I still can't stop worrying. My breasts are a little tender on and off as well as feeling a little nauseous. The one thing I can't help worrying about is an intermittent feeling of pressure around stomach and last night it was in my private area, like it was being pulled from the inside. Very bizzare. Has anyone else had this and come out ok?

Help!!!

have you spoken to the doc about it? i would, esp with the pulling sensation. of course it could be nothing, just old blood, but there is also a chance (i am sorry to say, and i apologise if this upsets you) that brown blood can indicate an ectopic pregnancy, so you should phone your gp and ask for a scan.
hope everything is fine, it most likely is. Smile

I had bleeding at 12 weeks and it can often be as simple as placenta moving as baby grows. Pulling sensation could also be simple change in womb as baby grows. BUT it is best to get things checked out so talk to GP. Good luck x

Pulling sensation could also be your uterus stretching and expanding, I had this around 7-8 weeks. Some people have what looks like a regular period in their first trimester so try not to worry too much as it won't do you or your baby any good. If it continues make GP appointment if anything to put your mind at rest, they can refer you for an early scan.
