Advice re: leaking water at 8 weeks.....

Hi guys

A friend of mine is pg and currently at 12 wks. She had water leaking at 8 weeks, when she was in bed at night. She's not sure what it was but she went to the loo after so is sure it isn't wee IYKWIM.

Just wondered if anyone has any idea what this could mean???

I don't know, but has she told her midwives? Perhaps they could put her mind at rest.

Dr said didn't know what it was but they don't look into it unless there's blood in it??? I hate the fact they don't put your mind at rest with a scan as it causes a lot of unnecessary stress!

The scan would not show a leak though.
The sac does heal itself as well.

Hopefully fine then. This was about 4 weeks ago and she has done a test since and still feels pg (very tired, sick etc) so I'm sure it's alright. Just wondered if anyone had had this happen to them.
