I am 15+3 and think I just felt him/her move. It was much later on with my dd (my 1st pregnancy). So just wondered if I am imagining things or if it's possible.

1st pregnancy, kicks from 20 wks :)

petisa · 11/08/2010 00:17

1st time flutters at 18 weeks. 2nd time at 12 weeks - was Shock and at first thought I was imagining things but I felt unmistakable flutters repeatedly.

Bensmum76 · 11/08/2010 06:45

I'm so pleased to see this thread as I thought I must be imagining things but I felt my baby move last week at 11 weeks pregnant and dismissed it. Had my scan yesterday and the baby is very low in my pelvic area. When I laid down in bed last night I definitely felt the baby moving loads!! I'm not sure if it's because of where it is in me at the moment, but I know it made me feel slightly queasy!!!

SupermumB · 11/08/2010 08:19

At 16 wks first time and 14 wks second :O)

SaraL77 · 11/08/2010 08:51

1st time at 16 wks, this time, well I'm sure I felt something at 14 wks but now I'm 15+3 and haven't felt anything again- very impatient!

Xavielli · 11/08/2010 09:04

about 18 weeks with DC2

15 weeks with DC3

goodlifemummy · 11/08/2010 16:33

1st time 15+2 with twins, this time round, flutters around 14 weeks, then nothing until 19 weeks (anterior placenta)

YellowCecil · 11/08/2010 16:51

17+3 and nothing! How can you tell the difference between baby moving and normal tummy stuff????

sotough · 11/08/2010 17:18

phew yellow - i was beginning to feel more and more worried and that i was the only one still not feeling anything. i am now 17+5 and feel nothing. this is my second pregnancy. Just hoping all is well in there.

DetectivePotato · 12/08/2010 10:07

Yay, glad to read these. I'm 14 weeks today and waiting for the flutters. I thought I felt something yesterday but I have so much wind Blush moving round, its hard to tell.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 12/08/2010 10:13

16 weeks the first time, and somewhere between 13 and 14 weeks this time round, I'm quite sure of that! Grin

But I've been told that due to the position of the placenta, even second babies might not be felt that much earlier than first ones.

HeadFairy · 12/08/2010 10:22

18 weeks for ds and then not until 22 weeks with dd! Was starting to think she'd never move!

YellowCecil · 12/08/2010 13:54

Glad we are in the same boat Sotough. Bet we both feel something in the next couple of weeks...!

BabyValentine · 12/08/2010 14:21

Oh, this is a great thread. I am 13 weeks with DC2 and was convinced I was imagining flutterings at 12 weeks. I'm so pleased others have felt so early Smile

With DC1 it was about 16.5 weeks.

lucybrad · 12/08/2010 16:05

before 14 weeks, i have a postieror placenta. Maybe that makes a difference?

YellowCecil · 12/08/2010 16:49

I must say I'm surprised at how early everyone has felt the baby move. I'm sure my book said "between 18 and 24 weeks", so I wasn't worried yet. Was the book just trying to fob me off?

Raejj · 12/08/2010 16:52

Dc1 about 20ish weeks but dc2 12 (he did come 3 weeks early so sometimes I wonder if our dates were right)

Raejj · 12/08/2010 16:53

yellowcecil you don't say but if it's your first chances are it won't be until much later so don't worry!

YellowCecil · 13/08/2010 10:52

Yeah, it's my first. Keep thinking I feel it but it's prbably wind!! Blush
