Hello I am keen to have some advise from all you MNetters.....
I am currently 36 weeks pregnant and due to be induced at 39 weeks pregnant because the baby has a medical condition.
I have been having BH since 30 weeks.
For the past 3/4 days I have noticed cramping pain, a bit like period pain in my lower tummy. I have also gone from being constipated to having diarrhea with no change in diet. Any views? Does this sound like I may go into labour earlier......

Thank you I appreciate your time.

Hi lots33. It could just be your body preparing itself for labour in the future (i.e. in a couple of weeks), it could be your tummy's a bit upset, or as you say it is possible things are starting off a bit early.

If you are worried, call your midwife/maternity helpline and talk it through. They may want you to come in and be examined/monitored. If you aren't keen on that yet then you could try putting your feet up, doing nothing, resting and seeing if things die down a bit and if they don't maybe giving them a call then.

Good luck - even if it does happen now your baby is very, very nearly term so don't worry.
