Hi Emma, I am due end of March too!

How are you feeling? Is it your first?

It's my first and I'm feeling dreadful at the moment, just been to see Dr for a bit of reassurance. Feeling so exhausted and nauseous. Finding hot buttered toast with Marmite keeps the pukiness at bay, along with ginger biscuits and Babybel cheese Smile

FuzzyWuzzyWuz · 10/08/2010 11:12

Congratulations, btw Blush

Oceanbreeze · 10/08/2010 11:16

Hi both, there are quite a few of us March ladies around - there is a thread in ante-natal clubs. Congratulations to you both Smile

PipPipPip · 10/08/2010 11:18

Hi I'm due 11 March - and can't wait till the 12th week comes about in the hope that my nausea and exhuastion lift a little! To be honest at present I do not see the 'joys' of pregnancy cause I have been feeling horrible and unlike myself.

Yes you are right, time does seem to go VERY VERY slowly and I have no idea when I will be asked to go for a scan - I have a booking appointment next week though and i can't wait.

emma31177 · 10/08/2010 12:58

I will def keep in touch. I am enjoying these discussions, I feel encouraged reading them too.

So far I feel that it has been a bit of lonely journey because I know no one around me who is pregnant (maybe cause I'm 34!)plus since it is my first I have no idea how things work or where to go to find people in my situation. Plus there is little time after work.. so my hubby has to hear it all, and I think he can do away with the minute details :)

Thanks to all!

edeluna · 10/08/2010 20:50

Congratulations, everyone!

I'm due March 17th -- St Patrick's Day. Really hoping baby comes on another day, though, so the pubs aren't packed every year when s/he wants to celebrate. :)

I'm 38 and this is my first. Had an early scan last week and got to see the heartbeat fluttering on the screen. So cool. 12-week scan in early September seems ages away. I'm trying to wait until after that scan to start telling people, but another four to five weeks? Sounds like it will never come! I'm definitely finding this secret harder and harder to keep!

LovelyKatie · 10/08/2010 22:02

Congratulations to all!

Im due march 10th but it feels like an eternity away.

just before that i will 21 on 21st feb! so can you imagine me being 21 on my birthday and 8 months pregnant!! ohhh i know its worth it though.

but then it doesnt bother me as i dont drink so i guess my only moan is that ill probably be in bed for 9! haha

good luck to all those and as i read in another post its so hard to only be 9+4 as now i have to wait till 16 weeks to check the baby is ok again to hear its heartbeat :(

( i had to have an early scan as i wasnt sure how many weeks i was so i had mine at 8 weeks)

its nice talking to women who are also due around same time as me :)

clarebear1 · 10/08/2010 22:16

kalo12 · 11/08/2010 22:50

Hi Girls,

i am due March 22nd, its my first pregnancy, hope this thread runs the course, will be great to discuss progess and worries with eachother.

At 8 weeks now, my main worry is waiting for the scan im so desperate to know everything is where it should be. We'r either thinking of an early scan, found one in warrington for only £65...

Hope everyone feels ok and not too sicky.

xxx

kalo12 · 12/08/2010 22:34

whats your symptoms? and how many weeks?

emsibub · 12/08/2010 22:37

PS. Is anyone showing yet? I am huge, got a big round pot belly i know it cant be all baby and probably just water but wondered if this is normal? Confused

sarahscot · 13/08/2010 08:37

I'm due on the 11th of March.

I'm not exactly showing, as in I don't look pregnant, but I definitely look different - I've put on 6lbs already, and all on my stomach - I look so fat!!! Waaaahhh!

Also v nauseaous, have been since week 5, 24 hours a day. I gave inlast week and went to the GP to ask for anti-nausea pills. I'm like a whole new person now. Not 100% but soooo much better. If you're really suffering I'd highly recommend them. The ones I have are called cyclizine.

am988 · 13/08/2010 09:56

Hi All,

Its so good to read your posts! By the way, sarahscot, I'm also due 11 March - 10 weeks tomorrow. I am also very nauseaus, and I am getting really fed up now, its just constant.

Glad to find out I'm not the only one putting on weight, although it could also be relate to my diet - which has changed to breads.. and pastas and rice - which seem the only things that settle my stomach!.. and to lack of exercise as I ve been so exahusted the gym had to stop - it is good enough i make it to and from work (having a 1hr 20min commute!)

So basicly, I feel horrible, feel I'm getting fat - i'm exhausted - my stomach is killing me - I can't remember the last time I felt myself! I know the end is worth it, but I need a break - just one day of feeling good please!!

Sorry for the depressing post :( - and it should be good cause its Friday!

emsibub · 13/08/2010 10:04

aww am988 you poor thing, like sarahscot I have also been to the docs for anti-emetics. Also Cylizine, maybe this could work for you? Again i'm not 100% but much better, i'm enjoying food again...

I've given in and booked the early scan. Its only £65 and cannot wait! we're hoping for next week, awaiting confirmation. Grin

ella24 · 27/10/2010 23:55
