I am 20 wks today and v excited about new baby, happy in my life with DP and DS and impending arrival, work is fine, finances at an acceptable level, just had a fab weekend with DP and DS at a music festival, looking forward to detailed scan on thurs BUT I am suddenly uncommonly grumpy and easily irritated by everyone and everything!!!

Aargh! There is no reason for it but last night SILs (x2) came round. I generally get on well with them but instead found myself getting really irritated by everything they said and in fact just there mere presence! Colleagues today are p*ing me right off but they are behaving no different to usual... I know its just me

Sorry just wanted a bit of a rant. Think it's helped. Thanks!

If it helps, I am more irritable too now I'm pregnant, I think (27 weeks). Today I told off a man in the swimming pool for swimming the wrong way up the lane and nearly kicking me. To be fair he wasn't that close to kicking me but I was just really pissed off that he wasn't more careful. We can blame it on the hormones!

People are annoying though. The amount of times I've had to bite my tongue this pregnancy I think I deserve a medal.

Yes, my idiot tolerance level is very low indeed. And the actual number of idiots out there seems to have trebled since I became pregnant. Is it just me? Wink

Can i join the pregnant grumpy pants club? Everything and everyone seems to irritate me at the moment

This made me giggle very much, thanks so much for sharing the grumps, Im so fed up of people congratulating me on being the sickest I've ever felt, and too tired to do anything but eat and sleep - in my 1st tri, and already grumpy lots!
