hi

Im 22 weeks today with my second baby and for the past week have had a very heavy feeling down below(!) read a couple of things and started to frighten myself with tales of incompetent cervix' - i don't rememebr having this last time. At my 20 week scan i was told i had a low lying placenta which would probably move but im thinking all sorts of things.
any one else feeling this / felt this?

thanks

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yep, I get this but I have two in there! But if I remember correctly with DS2, I also had it and with that and with these ones, it seems to be an indication as to when I have been overdoing it.

thanks - yes i wondered if it might be doing too much - i did spend 2 days walking round legoland sometimes carrying a 2 year old last week and haven't stopped cleaning etc around the house since i got back.... perhaps now im back at work i can rest abit!

Ah there you go!! Use it as a tool to put your feet up more and do less cleaning.

Put your feet up, rest, and for extra peace of mind - call your midwife for an extra check-up just to be on the safe side.

Hi, yes, I have this too (am now 34 weeks but felt very heavy/low quite early on) - and am also on my second baby. My midwife says it's because your stomach muscles are not as good as they were before your first child.

I did Legoland with a 2 year old recently too - hard work isn't it?! But fun.

Like the idea of putting your feet up - I'm doing that right now!

Obviously, speak to your midwife if you're concerned though Smile.
