Hiya - when did you first feel your baby hiccuping? And how long did it last each time?

I started feeling them at about 32 weeks (now 34) and they seem to go on forever! Or until I change position. It must be the hiccups - as its like a rhythmic twitching of my tummy???

I started getting this at about 35 weeks and the baby seems to get them a couple of times a day. It's cute, I like it. I reckon each session lasts for about 10 minutes or so.

Prob about 30 weeks, I was conciously looking out for them as my Brother had told me my SIL had them and he used to watch her stomach jump!

I'm 36 weeks now I get them 4-5 times a day, they can last 30 mins. They started off being cute and now can be quite annoying- especially at 3am! Almost always get them after eating!

They're not cute when you get them several times a day at 39 weeks- trust me!!!

Mine started around 30 wks and happen several times a day, though usually not for too long, maybe 10 mins max... I think I tune them out sometimes as they are much more subtle than the whopping big kicks/punching/headbutting... in fact he started hiccuping as I'm typing this! Grin I'm still at the stage where I kind of enjoy it...

bout 32 weeks for me too, loads of times during day and night and it drives me mental! was same with DS1 too and he got hiccups a lot when he was born too.
Am 37 weeks now and it actually wakes me in the night when babs gets them.
My very sweet nephew said to me the other day, just hold your breath for a little bit and it will stop! Smile
