am i in labour or not

hi im on my 4 th baby, and reached 33 wks, all day i have had tightening and pain, which has lasted and not gone off i have had the runs this morning bad x im having these pains 3 to 4 times an hour, since 10am, slight back ache, and cramp down my pelvis, area. i still got my waters, and not had a show, and the baby is kicking, and my belly has dropped.and im not feeling to great

it has been 14 yrs since my last baby x

i would contact labour ward. if you are in labour , then 33 is early. you need to be checked out properly by a MW to be monitored to see if these regular tightenings are braxton hicks or labour.

you don't have to have a show to be in labour, also, your waters don't have to break until you are further along in labour

i would certainly get seen today if the pains are regular and have been going on for a few hours

i rang, and she said it sounds like i have eaten something, so im waiting for anything else to happen, still getting pain and cramps on the ightenings xxx :(

if you did have an upset tummy, it can cause pains/contractions. as they have been regular i am surprised that you have not been checked out. if you are still getting the pains, if they are getting stronger or closer, you must call back . also, being dehydrated, which you might be if you're not well, can make you have more painful tightenings
