No I think they're separate. Matb1 is for employers to pay you mat pay - ask your midwife for it. I got mine last week (24 weeks) - I expect they've forgotten you haven't got yours

mine seem to forget a lot of things it seems!

had to ask for the health in pregnancy form, and they got my blood group wrong.. hmm!

MATB1 is definately different. I got mine from my midwife at about 11 weeks. It isa normally used for claiming maternity pay from your employer/SMP/Maternity Allowance etc.

I'm completely clueless r.e this. When do you have to give it to your employer? Can your midwife give you it at any time during your pregnancy?

Splashy, I think I heard something about giving it to your employer before 25 weeks.

Mat B1 can only be given when you are 21 completed weeks.
