6-4 weekspreg baby ok but have blood inside ??

hi just been to the early preg unit thought i was losing the baby as was bleeding and lots of brown discharge but had scan baby ok with nice heart beat but there is blood there to and was told the blood is going to come any idea what this means and is the baby safe ??? it was all to much to take in

Sounds to me like the baby is going to be okay - but they can see more blood - and they were just warning you the other blood will come out (will probably look like brown discharge by the time it makes it's way out from your uterus) so you realise it's not a fresh bleed.

Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy - sounds like the baby is okay - if they said baby has a nice heartbeat.

This bleeding in pregnancy thing just happens to some women.
I had it a lot in 2 of my previous 4 pregnancies (that were successful).

If you get more red - fresh bleeding - do call the EPU again for another scan.

thank you so much ive lost 4 and got 2 children but they all been different so had nothing to compare this one on and not really heard of this before but it was great to see the heart beat and that the baby had grown since i had a scan on monday i just wonder why this never showed up when i had a scan on monday i should have asked more questions but u dont think about it at the time and it was a lot to take in

Yes - I know what you mean - I bet you were just so glad to see that little baby's heart beating.

My cousin had similar to you and all was well - seing the baby with heartbeat is a really good sign. Try to take it easy and be gentle with yourself.

Pregnancy is a very stressful time if you have been through previous losses. x
