Why is my baby so low in my pelvis already?

I am 29+4. For the last few scans I have been to, my baby has been head first and very low in my pelvis making it hard to take good facial photos. Today we went for a 4D bonding scan (I was very excited!) and he/she was down there again. I'm getting concerned now that it's stuck! This also meant we couldn't get any pictures, but my main concern is that the baby is ok. I have a feeling that it's been down their since week 19. HELP PLEASE!!!!

Haven't a clue. I do know though that my baby was head down (1/5 cephalic) at my 28 week appointment.

I'm now 37 weeks and bump rests on my thighs.

Oh my! Well we are going back for another scan tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Maybe I should buy a shelf to rest my bump on just incase. Thanks. xx

Exactly as Yama says, my baby was soooo low that has recently changed, I'm 35 wks, I think I have a 'generous' pelvis and she has enjoyed settling down low but she is higher now she is bigger, I guess she will be heading back in that direction quite soon though!

A midwife friend (bit old school)suggested when I lie on my side I could put a pillow under my hip to elevate a little to encourage her 'up' a bit, I felt her slide down lol. I thought the same as you at one point but dont worry baby will soon start moving about more.

Thanks everyone. Good to know that my baby isn't just an eager beaver wanting to get out. xx

DD spent most of the third trimester head-down ready to go, between 2/5 and 3/5 engaged at all times! Even at the 20 wk scan I had to come back because they couldn;t see the head fully.

Didn;t arrive until 3 days after due date - so, don't worry, she/he is not beginning to tunnel out!
