I had that in my pregnancies towards last few weeks. Can't remember if it was a problem or not now (eldest is 3yr, youngest 21mths) but would strongly suggest you talk to midwife/gp and ask for their input. It's always best to check if you have concerns as getting stressed isn't good for you or baby!

Good luck

Weird feeling isn't it?! I had this - and couldn't work out if the bump was going through a growth spurt, or whether it was the position of the baby stretching the skin/affecting the nerves. But my numbness came some days and went again, it wasn't painful, so I just put it down to one of those weird pregnancy things and I haven't experienced it much that I've noticed recently (I'm 38+3).

I'm 39+6 and the top of my bump (kind of top to bottom along the linea nigra) has been numb for weeks. I asked the doctor who said it was because the skin is so stretched that the nerves can't keep up if that makes sense.

i'm 38 weeks and have had this for a couple of months at least - just a smallish patch of skin at the top of my bump. Midwife said nothing to worry about - probably just due to stretching. But worth mentioning it to yours anyway

I have this too! (36+5) It feels so weird, I have to keep prodding it Smile Sounds like it's not uncommon though so I'm not worried about it. x
