Hi,

I'm 30 weeks today and had a relatively easy pregnancy so far (other than GBS!)

Over the last few days I've had some nausea and a lot of backache, I presume this is all normal?! The backache is starting to really hurt and get to me!

Thanks in advance!

3I weeks too and the bachache is getting worse, often when I am sitting or lying down!
Can't help on the nausea as I have HG so it's constantly with me!

28wks, and had a relatively easy pg as well, can't help with the backache as I have none but I have had nausea in the past week for the first time in the pg, thought I'd escaped it!

Hi NoTea, same EDD (14 Oct) as me!

Nausea, yes, normal.

Backache - is it period-pain-like and down very low? In which case I would call the hospital for advice in case it's contractions.

Or is it more like a muscular pain? In which case normal, try more pillows in bed at night and thinking about your posture (tuck your bum in!) in the day.

Yep 14th october! 10 weeks to go!

Hmm, I haven't really thought about what kind of pain the backache is! It's ok at the mo so I will pay more attention next time and see when it comes back! It is more painful in the morning (I'm guessing from sleeping funny, however many pillows etc I have I always kick them away during the night!) and then it's ok until evening.

I will keep my eye on it!

Thanks

PS I have one of those big exercise balls that I haven't pumped up yet, do you think it's time to get bouncing?!

Ugh! My back ache is beyond painful. It is constant from the moment I wake up! It kicked in about 2 weeks ago - I am now 25 weeks. I have had a bad back in the past so this is obviously just the way it is always going to be for me....

A hot water bottle can help a bit. I get my DH to give me a lower back massage to relieve some of it and I try and lie flat out as much as possible.

Just did some ironing this morning and now it is killing me.
