Constipation - and irrational fear that the baby is going to pop out!

Am 33 weeks and suffering, well not sure if it is constipation, but certainly going to the toilet is a 'brace yourself' experience right now. Anything not to drastic I can do to help?

You're going to say prune juice aren't you and I'm going to wince, is prune juice actually drinkable?

And it is just me with an irrational fear that I am going to pop the baby out during these bracing experiences?

I keep having constipation on and off, almost 37 weeks now and so fed up of it!

When I'm having ahem, trouble, I make sure I get lots of extra fibre, to be honest raisins really "do it" for me, and make sure to get plenty of water, as not drinking enough really doesn't help, even if you eat plenty of fibre.

Don't think I could stomach prune juice either I must say!

And I always worry I'm going to push the baby out or something, I was the same with DS. Such an irrational fear but I always think about it. Of course it would never happen lol.

Prune juice - hold your nose and drink.

But what worked for me was lots and lots of fresh fruit and water (thank you MIL)

It must be my metabolism or something because normally I am regular as anything, even during the early stages of pregnancy I had the opposite problem, and I always have sultana bran for brekkie.
