I'm 8 days over my due date and getting really fed up! I am booked to be induced on Sunday but am feeling really cheated that labour hasn't started naturally, Im I being silly?
Sounds silly but I wanted the sudden feeling of going into labour, spending as much time at home with my husband then going to the hospital to deliver.

Midwife tried to do a sweep on Monday but she said that my cervix is VERY posterior, is this gonna affect having a vaginal delivery?

Could I go into hospital on Sunday and ask for an elective C-Section? Or should I try being induced first??

Help!

What do YOU want to do? A normal pregnancy lasts up to 42 weeks so you are not 'late' per se. You do not have to be induced. You can ask for expectant management where they will monitor the baby to check all is well and you can wait for labour to happen naturally.

Is this your first?
