I had a mc 2 months ago but I'm now 5 wks pg. Although I've already had 2 DDs, I don't remember having so many aches and pains before. My hips (especially left side) and back seem to really ache, especially when I have a full bladder! Just wondered whether anyone else has had this as well.

Hiya i'm somewhere around 5-8 weeks and have had lots of this too! I've had really achy belly and hips - sort of like period pains but not sore, just achy. Don't remember having it before either!!

I can understand your concern considering your m/c but I did have this with my dd and she is now a beautiful and healthy little girl.

Snap. I had a m/c in March, and think I'm pregnant again (two weeks late and sore boobds, nausea) but am too nervous to test. In the meantime, I have those twinges too. Really, really hope everything is okay.

I had dragging pains like I was about to have the mother of all periods for about the first 20 weeks with DD and only met one person who had had a similar experience. Currently 32 weeks pg and had the same pains for about the first 12 weeks. This time though a friend had them too despite not having had them on her 1st, she had a bleed at 6 weeks but is now about 22 weeks pg. Best wishes!

I am having this too, real aches right down my right side and into my back and as you say, when I have a full bladder it is worth. I have been told it is natural and normal as all the ligaments are stretching so trying not to worry, I dont remember having those aches with my dd 11 years ago. When I am lying in bed it can be quite bad and I have to get on my side to take the pain away, what we women have to go through.

I am also 5 wks pg and have a permanently achey tummy and back. I have had a m/c in the past so will be delighted to get to 12 weeks with no problems. Due on 1 May.

just found out am pregnant 3 days ago. So am only four weeks pregnant. I had a late miscarriage in April. I have been noticing lots of achy tummy pains and even have a sore back. Its worrying but I am glad to know others are feeling the same.
