when will i start showing?

im 8weeks gone on thursday and just curious when i will start to show? im 5"3 and a size 8 am i likly to show more because im small?

Hi there. I am now 28 weeks. I was about the same measurements as you pre pregnancy. I started showing properly around week 15 or so. At that time I looked more fat then pregnant. A proper bump only came around week 18. Everyone is different. I've got a friend who is also quite petite who is pregnant. She is currently 22 weeks but you can hardly see that she is pregnant. Congrats on the pregnancy.

I am 5"6 and a size 10 before pregnancy. Am currently 14+3 and am beginning to see a proper bump forming although it actually varies in size during the day!

I was same size and height as you when I had my 1st deffo not same size now!) and I didnt start showing until around 24 weeks.

im 5'6 and was a size 6 still am, and i got a bump at 10-12 weeks, but towards the end as i put weight on everywere else my belly looked really small. it depends on each individual

I'm the same size as you and only an inch taller and with my first pregnancy I think it was around 15 weeks before I started showing, this time I'm now 14+3 and have a small bump though it's not what I'd call a proper bump, more of a bit of a podgy belly- but people have started to notice already! I think it does vary from person to person but a petite person will definitely show much sooner than someone bigger.

I'm 5'10'' and size 10-12. Well I WAS anyway.
I only started to show properly about a month ago. Before that, I looked like I had just had a large lunch. Loving actually looking pregnant now though. I have missed out on a lot of mths of people giving their seat up for me haha

Week 19! Its my first pregnancy too and I was small. Pre-pregnancy size of 6-8 and flat stomach. Week 16th still wore bikkini in vacation but felt fat. In pictures, I still had my abs muscles and looked a bit chubby-ier than myself but really okay. Week 18th to 19th over night (and I am serious about the over night part!!) I had a visible pregnancy bump, which steadily has been growing. My body suddenly released the relaxin or whatever it releases that softened my abs and made the bump visible!

No way of knowing in advance really - I'm a bit shorter than you and the same pre-pregnancy size. I started to look noticeably pregnant to me and DH around 20-22 weeks. I didn't reach the point when it was obvious to anyone who was looking until about 34 weeks (lots of colleagues didn't notice a thing till then). Someone told me that as long as your chest sticks out further than your stomach people don't really notice unless you dress to accentuate it, and that fits with my experience - I started off quite well-endowed and I've gone up 4 cup sizes since getting pregnant.

A similar-sized friend showed from about 12 weeks, but she'd had abdominal surgery not long before getting pregnant and apparently that means you're likely to show earlier.

I'm 5'10 and was a size 8 with a flat stomach. Feels like a lifetime ago.

I'm 13 + 5 and now definitely what I think is showing. But actually, DP says it just looks like 'a gut'. Charming! I'd have to dress to accentuate and also cradle it lovingly a lot to get a seat on the tube, put it that way.

If you want a seat on the tube get one of those Baby on Board badges. (I emailed TFL for mine)

I still don't really look pregnant (much bigger than the rest of you ladies pre-pregnancy) despite being 23 weeks with twins, but at least when I wear my badge people (sometimes) give up their seat for me.

I'm 5'8 and size 8-10 and didn't show properly until 21-22 weeks. I am now 26 weeks and have a reasonable sized bump which can go up and down depending on if I have eaten or time of day. Before then I could hide the pregnancy although to me it felt like I was huge as i was used to a flat stomach.
