brown discharge now dont feel pregnant

Hi i had some brown discharge at 10wks not much mostly when wiped lasted 4/5 days now dont feel pregnant and just wondered if anyone else has had this?

i have also had brown discharge. i had it at 6 weeks and still get it on and off. my doctor said it is my body cleaning out old blood, but contact ur doctor to be on the safe side hope everything is ok

I had this sort of thing at 6 weeks, 10 weeks and 15 weeks with DS - all was fine. It's normal about 10 weeks to stop feeling so shit because the placenta starts kicking in and your stop producing the vomity hormones (or something!)

I had quite alot of dark red/brown spotting at about 8 weeks with my first pregnancy. I worried like hell, but I made sure I rested and it was fine.

I was told by a midwife friend of mine that you're quite likely to get this around the time you would have missed your second period.

I would go see the GP though, you don't want to be worrying.

I think brown blood is generally old blood and is much less likely to be a miscarrying. Bright red blood is more worrying but lots of people have had this too including my best friend at 12 weeks and she went on to have a healthy baby. I had brown discharge on and off from about 5 weeks to about 7 weeks in my first pregnancy with no problems.

i agree with u lucy 101 im having the same as u had now, and my doctor said nothing to worry about unless it is red blood. and this is around the time i would of had my second period i didnt know it could be something to do with that so that has put my mind to rest now for sure!

So sorry to hear that dmre, I've had brown/ red discharge too since fri and is slowly getting worse, not holding out much hope either

Oh dmre - that's awful - so sorry to hear this. I hope Thursday goes as smoothly as possible and you don't have to hang around waiting for long on the day.
