Pregnant fancy dress outfits?

Hi All,
I've been invited to a birthday party next week but its a fancy dress party with a superheroes theme!
All the obvious outfits don't really go well with being pregnant and the cheap outfits you can buy in the shops only go up to a non-pregnant size14 which isn't any use at all.
Any suggestions for superheroes I could go as without too much hassle and expense?
All advice is great as I haven't got a clue! :?

could you go as some greek goddess? those goddess dresses have an empire bust and would accomodate your bump. bollocks to the theme, it's pretty obvious you won't be rocking the latex. And anyone with half a brain will not mind.

I went as mother nature - flowery flowing dress from primark and a doll as well as my bump. Painted flowers on my face and had hippy hair - easy and cheap. Surely mother nature is a heroine?

Mrs Incredible must have been a pregnant superheroine at times! Mask should be easy - can you borrow some black lycra leggings? Then it's just the top ...

Otherwise, perhaps you could invent your own? Have some fun with the back-history - it could be quite a talking point.

Problem is, I can't think of that many female superheroes.
