Hello ladies,i need some advice please..this morning (i`m 37 weeks ) i went to the toilet and saw (after wiping) a brownish discharge with a slight bit of red in it...sorry for details...
Could this be a show so early and what now???

Hi Mayte, IIRC, a show is your plug coming away, it tends to be quite big, and slimy, basically a BIG gob of greeny brown mucus. It may come away all together, or in a few pieces.

Best thing to do is put a pad in to catch anything as it may come away when you're not expecting it.

And talk to your mw. Sounds horrible but save a bit, wrap in some tissue and show it to her next time you see her??

It could well be the start of it. Some people have big shows like park just described. Other people (like me) have more gradual ones.

I started getting one this time at around 35 weeks. It was dark red / brown blood with bits of mucus mixed in. Sometimes some lighter red fleshy bits that looked stringy.

The big blob type tends to happen closer to labour - the red / brown bit I think is a sign of your cervix more gradually changing and it could well be another few weeks.
